Narborough Cricket Club are granted £1,670 of Lottery Funding money by Sport England to purchase equipment for outdoor coaching and league games.

This funding has allowed us to buy a Pop-up Ball Stop Net - Size 110 x 80 cm, a Fielding Bat,a large size Bucket of 96 Tennis Balls, a Club Complete Coaching Pack with Case and a Kwik Cricket Coaching Kit, plus 4 Gunn & Moore small junior helmets.

The helmets have already been delivered. The remainder of the order is waiting for Duncan Fearnley to complete their order as they are out of stock of several items at the moment. They intend to manufacture the fielding bat at their factory in Worcester, rather than supply us with an imported one from the sub continent.

Stop Press - Duncan Fearnley have delivered all the outstanding order. Kit now marked up and stored safely in pavilion.

This gives our juniors who attend outdoor summer coaching at the club the best junior cricket equipment that money can buy.

More news about coaching in local schools to follow.
