Where does your money go?

We hear parents and children aren't aware of what happens to the money we collect every week for coaching and match fees, so here's where it goes!

The money we collect doesn't go into coaches pockets as wages - nor as petrol expenses for taking teams to games. The coaches give their time free of charge because they know how important it is to coach the future stars of Narborough cricket club. The £1 we collect as a match fee from each team member and the £1 we collect from everyone that turns up for the weekly 90 minute coaching sessions goes on ...................... buying junior kit!

We've just spent over £80 on buying six medium size Kwick Cricket bats, balls and 10 cricket tees. Why? Because most of our juniors have outgrown the original set of small bats we bought three years ago, and the old tees are starting to fall apart with all the bashing they have had over the last couple of years.

We also have not really sufficient bats available to provide enough batting practice for the children that turn up for coaching, a few times this year we've had close to 20 budding cricketers at coaching.

So what you give us buys the juniors better kit. Thank you to everyone who has paid their club junior subscription on time and who pays their coaching and match fees each week without being asked.

You help us give you better facilities to enjoy learning about cricket.
