Narborough Juniors get closer to a win
Narborough Juniors lost by 44 runs to Snettisham last Friday
After Ben King claimed an early wicket, Snettisham's Doughty and Grief put on an unbeaten stand of 63 before both were retired. Lewis Hawthorne got two wickets at the end of the innings and Snettisham finished with 137 for 4 wickets off their 20 overs.
Narborough started well but found scoring difficult, Harry Colwell (14) and Ben King (12) batted together for 16 overs before being retired. Unfortunately the 5 following batsmen failed to trouble the scorers, so Narborough finished 44 runs short on 93 runs for 6 wickets at the end of their innings.
A good effort, but it was disappointing that very few of the team bothered to stay behind and help tidy up and pack the equipment into the team bag.
