A good turn out on Saturday thanks mainly to the Doggies coming and supporting. Fortunately ECB's were short on numbers and didn't have the reserve base that we did. The first two tries went to them as our hands again let us down and we kept trying to run it from our own 22.
Then Pete Rewi was on the receiving end of a good mid field break to score. A rush of blood to the head saw him miss the conversion (or was that a vortex whirlwind Pete?!). Then another linking run through several players saw Jamie from the Doggies go over but hand the ball to Kerry to score.
Halftime 14 - 12 to C-Niles.
Final we managed to hold some passes and build some structure to the game (and the C-niles got knackered) which allowed us to put on tries to Kerry, Matty Jefferies and Destry. Try of the day by Destry to catch a low clearing kick on their 22 and charge , relink and score.
Final score 29-14.

Player of the Day was Robbie Purdy - a new recruit introduced by Dave Baldwin.

Tackle of the Day was going to Destry but because he didn't have his Rats shirt and left it went to Lugs.
