PRS NAVY WATER RATS

The Navy Water Rats are a social over thirty fives full contact rugby team. We are a reputable Presidents grade that remains focussed on the development of camaraderie, team spirit and harnessing individual strengths to promote rugby ethos amongst the community.

The team comprises a mixture of Navy, Immigration, Customs, Police and Civilians with a history of Army, Corrections and Fire Service personnel.

We are family orientated and encourage maximum participation during our playing season and fundraising ventures.

Our annual end of season escapades titled ‘WROT’ (Water Rats On Tour) takes us to a variety of destinations where we encounter similar minded teams. In particular we have regular challenges against the Trentham Army PresidentS (TAPS) and occasionally Linton and Te Puke Pressies.
