Family rivalry in local derby image

Their was a real family connection in Netherfield seconds local derby with Kendal on Bank Holiday Monday!

Mike Dugdale who plays for Netherfields seconds was up against his brother Andrew Dugdale of Kendal.

Too further add to the occasion, Mikes son Liam was also in action in the same game against Andrew's son Michael!.

In the history of The Northern Cricket League this is the first time that this has ever happened!

On what was a special day, the Mike and Liam combination came out on top, as Steven Wilaon hit a first innings of 126, a knock which was well supported by Robbie Lambert who posted an impressive score of 55.

However to further add to the afternoon, the second innings was all about the performance of 14 year old Liam Dugdale who went on to claim an outstanding return of 6-40.

Two of those 6 wickets being the ones of Andrew and Michael Dugdale!
