Netherfields 2nds tasted defeat as they fell to an 8 wicket defeat at Preston.

Matt Clintons team went into the game with more changes to the squad, which included the inclusion of Brad Earl who dropped down from the 1st team and Phil Harrington who was brought in from the 3rd team.

Both Mike and Liam Dugdale were also included into what was yet again a much changed squad from previous weeks.

Batting first, Netherfield were bowled out for 113, as Prestons S Nasser ripped through the batting line up taking 4-29.

Mike Dugdale top scored with an unbeaten 48,whilst Marcus Hill hit 13 to offer some resistance as the 2nds ended up on what was deemed a reasonable score on a difficult wicket!

However the 2nds chance of victory was taken away from them in the 2nd innings as an unbeaten 85 by Yasin Boda guided Preston to 115-2, and the 12 points!
