After a week off, Nettleham face Burton Albion at Albion’s Lamb Ground this Sunday. The game marks the halfway point of the season.
Burton Albion have not had the best of seasons. Over the past four weeks, they’ve come away with two 2-2 draws, a 4-1 loss to Birmingham and West Midlands (BWM) and a 5-1 loss to Bedworth.
Earlier in the season, Nettleham suffered two 2-1 losses against BWM in close-knit games. They also lost to Bedworth in a game where Bedworth clearly had the edge, which ended 3-2.
Last week’s victors over Nettleham, Long Eaton, beat Burton Albion 3-0 in September. They have beat the Netts twice over the past couple of months. Both games were neck and neck but Long Eaton took the last minute lead.
The Netts are 5th on the league table at the moment, four places above Sunday’s hosts. This game is very winnable for Nettleham but could easily go either way.
