Ernest Pilsworth RIP


Newark Rugby Club officials and members are saddened to learn of the death in Montreal of former captain Ernest Frank Pilsworth at the age of 85.

Ernest, who was educated at Magnus Grammar School, captained the club in 1948/9. He emigrated to work for the RHP company in 1957 becoming chief executive of RHP Canada.

He is survived by his wife, Gwladys, a son Simon, daughter Alyson and three grandchildren.
