The IRB has laid out carefully the process for applying for World Cup 2015 tickets. We have adapted this for Newbury RFC and the information is listed below:

1. Week ending 11th April
Newbury RFC will issue the application forms for Club members to be included on the list of applicants to be forwarded to RFU and IRB.

These will be available at the club, downloadable from our website and will be sent to as many members as possible, as well as being included with this information.

2. Friday 25th April
Forms must be returned to Chet Hobbs at the club to be processed.

The details required for the ticket application site are Name and E-mail Address as well as ticket requirements. Fixtures and Prices available on www.rugbyworldcup.com

You must acknowledge and agree that tickets are for personal use and are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold or offered, exposed or made available for sale, or transferred or otherwise disposed save as permitted in the General Ticket Terms and Conditions.

We are allowed to put forward a maximum of 200 applicants so if there are more than this we will hold a public draw at the club on Thursday 1st May at 7pm.

A member may be allocated up to 2 tickets for any Twickenham match and 4 tickets for any non-Twickenham match. Tickets for all matches are available to buy across all price bands but are subject to availability on a first-come first-served basis. If a price band is sold out the member will be advised of price bands where tickets are available.

3. Information will be processed within the club ready for uploading to the application website.

4. Tuesday 6th May
The ticket website goes live to enable our Ticket Administrator to upload our members details.

5. Members will receive an email from ER2015 inviting them to complete their registration in advance of the sale of tickets.

6. Friday 16th May
The sale of tickets opens and eligible members log into www.ticket.ruqbyworldcup.com to buy tickets.

7. Monday 30th June 6.00pm
Rugby Community ticket sales window closes.

8. September
Tickets go on sale to the general public and members may apply again.

Application for World Cup tickets is a privilege reserved only for members. Members must observe the following conditions:

** If more than one ticket is issued, the holder of the ticket must accompany the Member to the match. There must be no transfer or resale of Tickets at or above face value or sold on an Internet Auction site. If these terms are contravened the Club can be banned from applying for up to five years. ANY member selling tickets in this way risks being banned from applying for tickets from NRFC.
If tickets are not required they MUST be returned. **

Members will receive an email from ER2015 inviting them to complete their registration in advance of the sale of tickets which goes live on 16th May 2014 until 30th June 2014.

The attached application form should be returned to the Newbury RFC office by Friday 25th April in an envelope addressed to Chet Hobbs and marked: “RUGBY WORLD CUP TICKETS”
