A big thank you! New Langdon Lounge
I would personally like to thank the club members who gave up there time last week to renovate the Langdon lounge.
Firstly Happy New Year!
Over the Christmas break some dedicated club members have helped us create a new look Langdon lounge. Gone are the tired old seats and the carpet to be replaced with a fresh look which will allow us to make better commercial use of the space.
Our aim is to get the clubhouse paying for itself so it is not a drain on rugby resources. It will be used for conferencing and training events and be available to local businesses.
Initially we have a booking from the Ambulance service.
We could not have done this so cheaply without the help of a small but dedicated band of members. Thank you.
Please remember that all profit from the clubhouse now goes direct to the club this includes room hire, food, drinks, conferencing, gym rent. So please use the club and please put your hand up next time we ask for help. It is always much appreciated.
