Notice is hereby given again to all members of Newbury Rugby Football Club that the Annual Financial General Meeting of the Club will be reconvened* on Wednesday 26 March 2014 at 7.30pm
at The Clubhouse, Monks Lane, Newbury for the purposes noted below

AGENDA

1. Apologies for Absence

2. Approval of the minutes of the AFGM on 30 October 2013

3. Proposed Amendments to Rules:
(A correction to 9.6.2, to delete ‘Notice’ and replace with ‘Agenda’)

9.6 Proposals for additions or alterations to the Rules or for any other motion to be submitted to an Annual General Meeting shall be subject to the following provisions

9.6.1 Any proposal, irrespective of the notice provisions set out in rule 11, shall be submitted in writing to the Honorary Secretary four weeks prior to the General Meeting duly proposed by one Member and seconded by another.

9.6.2 Copies of all such proposals and copies of all proposals put forward by the Committee shall be sent to all Members with the Notice Agenda of the General Meeting.

4. To receive and approve the Financial Statement, for the financial year ending 30 June 2012.
(The summary of Financial Statement will follow ASAP.)

5. An extract from the Draft Accounts for the financial year ending 30 June 2013 will be available at the meeting or by application to the Treasurer thereafter. These Accounts are currently with the accountant for final adjustments and the Financial Statement will be presented for approval at the AGM to be held before 30 June 2014.

6. To appoint the Auditors for the ensuing year.

7. To hear any other relevant matter for consideration of the Committee during the ensuing year, but on which no voting shall be allowed.

(*) It was agreed by members at the AFGM on 30 October 2013 to adjourn until not later than 31 March 2014. The reconvened meeting is called by resolution of the Committee at its meeting on 21 February 2014.
