After a long 4 month break this Saturday see’s the return of the mighty Newbury Blues to Monks Lane!

This is set to be a thrilling game after both teams put in outstanding performances on the opening weekend of the season. Newbury will be going into the game with confidence after Saturdays near loss performance to Salisbury who finished runners up in the league last season.

Newbury Blues will look to lay down a marker on Saturdays game, as the players and coaches look to turn Monks lane back into the fortress of yesteryear.

Saturday will also see the return of Newbury Ladies who are currently undefeated in 2 years, they will play hosts to Portsmouth. So why not make a day of it and enjoy both games, watch the ladies from 1pm and then the mighty Blues from 3pm.

To mark the return of the Might Blues / Newbury Ladies we are turning Saturday’s game into a Caribbean party which will hopefully encourage a big crowed to cheer on our teams to victories.

To aid the party we are offering all visitors the opportunity to bring a friend / guests for free. In doing so you will also receive a free pint of Ale,
