Newbury Blues

This Saturday we welcome the mighty Newbury Blues back to Monks lane for their 2nd home fixture of the season against Windsor.

Saturday also sees the return of Newbury Stags who will play hosts to Hungerford in a pre season friendly, as Bournemouth have since pulled out of there league.

This is set to be another thrilling afternoon of rugby as both teams look to make it 2 out of 4 this season. The Blues will be looking to put last Saturday’s performance against Swindon behind them as they look to rebuild momentum.

Newbury RFC would also like to welcome back Ben Louisson to Monks Lane on Saturday, Ben left the Blues half way through last season due to injury, but has now made a full recovery and will take up position in the pack for Windsor.

If the Blues are too indeed turn The Lane back into fortress then you really do not want to miss this Saturdays game, another 66 point win would be a lot to ask but stranger things have happened.
