2015 / 16 FA Competition Draws

The Football Association released the draws for the opening rounds of the major FA competitions on Friday morning.

The ties involving The Millers are as follows -

The Emirates FA Cup

Saturday 29th August – Preliminary Round – Hemsworth MW or Armthorpe Welfare v New Mills ( winners receive £1,925 from FA Prize Fund )

Both Hemsworth and Armthorpe play in The Toolstation Northern Counties East League and are located near Pontefract and Doncaster respectively

The FA Trophy

Saturday 3rd October - Preliminary Round – Shaw Lane Aquaforce v New Mills ( winners receive £2,500 from FA Prize Fund )

Situated near Barnsley, Shaw Lane are newcomers to The Evo Stik NPL and play in Division One South

Saturday 31st October - First Round Qualifying – Shaw Lane Aquaforce or New Mills v Farsley Celtic or Prescot Cables ( winners receive £2,700 from FA Prize Fund )
