The Millers set for first meeting with Cumbrians

The Millers are back in Hallmark Security League action this weekend, when Carlisle City make their first ever visit to Church Lane. Thanks to adverse weather conditions in recent weeks The Millers have not seen competitive match action since 27 January and this could be the first home game since early 2018 due to postponements.

The game kicks off at 3.00pm and entry to the game is £6 (£4 concessions).

Last time out, in the 2-2 draw at Daisy Hill, Jack McConnell and Nathan Neequaye netted the Millers goals in a game that they dominated only to be punished for their wastefulness late on when the home side grabbed an equaliser.

Team News: Gareth Cross and Nick Dowse have no new injury worries to report although Dennis Sherriff will miss the game due to suspension, he still has two games remaining of his three match ban following the red card against Alfreton Town. Recent signings George Blackwell, Ollie Martin and Jordan Milne all came through a hastily arranged friendly against Abbey Hey in midweek and should be available for selection.

New Mills and Carlisle City did not face each other last season, this will be the first meeting of the sides and the away side come into the game on a run of three defeats from their last five outings. They will be anxious to bring this run to an end on Saturday, while the Millers will be keen to build a run of results that will see them climb towards the top end of the table.

Updates from the game will be provided on the clubs official Twitter account.
