Real Ale Festival Starts Today / Weekend Schedule

The Club’s Real Ale Festival starts at noon today and runs throughout the weekend.

To complement all the available beers on display, the organisers have arranged plenty of entertainment for patrons / visitors to enjoy –

Friday – beginning at 6:30pm, talented local singer / songwriter Miss Jenem will be performing a couple of sets during the course of the evening

Saturday – A Family Fun Day starts from midday with a variety of stalls and activities such as bouncy castles, face painting and a penalty shoot-out to keep everybody entertained. A mobile pizza oven, burger van & candy floss will also be available on site.

As we are a Football Club, the beautiful game won’t be forgotten either. The Club’s Development Squad entertain Chapel Town in a pre-season friendly kicking off at 3pm. The start of The Premier League will be available to view in the Clubhouse as well with Manchester United and Chelsea featuring at lunchtime and early evening respectively.

Sunday – A slightly more relaxed day as The Festival draws to a conclusion. Again there will be a game to watch at Church Lane kicking off at 11:30am with two further Premier League fixtures broadcast on TV during the course of the afternoon.

To assist people visit and hopefully enjoy The Festival, the Club will provide transport from New Mills Newtown train station. Pick up’s from the car park will be available at 12:50 and 14:50 on Friday afternoon and 12:50 on Saturday.
