In advance of the start of the competitive season, there is an opportunity for those serious about football to progress in the team whose sole aim is the development of players in anticipation of further progression to possible first team football at New Mills and beyond.

The Club is looking for players who want to be the best they can be whilst enjoying their football. Boys must be aged between sixteen and seventeen and be eligible to play in the Under 18 squad for the forthcoming season.

Open trials will take place at New Mills AFC, Church Lane, New Mills, SK22 4NP at 7pm on Wednesday 23rd July and at 11am on Saturday 26th July. ( There is a potential to add further dates if required ). Players attending the sessions are advised to arrive ten minutes before the proposed start times in order to register and also to bring shin pads and appropriate footwear for both Astroturf and grass pitches.
