Although the Swan's season so far has been a rocky ride as they find themselves in 16th position, the message from the camp is that things are looking up and headed in the right direction.
Manager Darren Lynch has literally had to build from the ground up after the departure of so many key players in the off-season.
However, his appointment of fellow ex-Swans legends Daren Dykes and Ben Hill to the management team and the gelling of the young squad finally starting to shine through, the feeling in the clubhouse is that the Green and Whites are headed in the right direction.
As he prepares his team for the Boxing Day derby v Kempston at Willen Road (12pm kick-off) Manager Darren Lynch took time out to deliver this message:
"It's been a tough first half of the season due to the loss of so many players & injuries. The loss of Simon Spooner was also a massive loss but the squad that we are assembling now with the additions of Daren & Ben has started to make an impact and hopefully we will have a good 2nd half of the season and climb the table!"
"I'd like lastly to thank the supporters that have continued to follow us through these tough times and they start to enjoy some good days and results! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!"
So with the management and the squad relishing the challenge ahead, these are exciting times at Willen Road so why not come down on Boxing Day for some traditional derby-day action. The kick off time is the earlier time of 12pm.
Finally, just to echo Darren's words, Merry Christmas to everybody from all at NPTFC. Have a wonderful time and hope to see you, your families friends and loved ones at Willen Road on Boxing Day cheering the Swans on to victory.
Come on you Swans!
