BREAKING NEWS! Daren Dykes confirmed as assistant manager

5 years ago By Ben Sharpe

It has been announced this evening that ex-Newport forward Daren Dykes will join the Swans dugout as assistant to manager Darren Lynch.

As the rebuilding of the Swans first team continues on the field, a huge boost was given to the team on the side-lines when manager Darren Lynch announced that he will be joined by ex-strike partner Daren Dykes as assistant manager.

In making the announcement, Lynch said he was "Delighted" to welcome Dykes back to Willen Road. Dykes, who retired from playing through injury earlier this year, also stated he was delighted at returning to the Green & Majestic Surroundings.

The news will stir good memories for Swans fans who enjoyed watching the Darren/Daren combination on the Swans front-line and will now look forward to that great partnership continuing in the dugout.
