Leicester Nirvana 1-2 Swans - The Managers Report.

Newport Pagnell Town manager Darren Lynch on their 2-1 win at Leicester Nirvana:

Newport Pagnell Town manager Darren Lynch on their 2-1 win at Leicester Nirvana:
"We travelled to Leicester Nirvana for our top of the table clash and if I’m honest it didn’t disappoint.
We started pretty well but got caught with a quick break and their striker took his chance well. The boys reacted superbly and young Harry Stratton was a constant menace, and it was his ball into the box which led to a penalty when their keeper unnecessarily pushed Fazel Koriya in the back.
Faze converted the spot kick and I feel it was well deserved!
Half chances at each end came for both teams but just before half time we got a corner and Greg Ling’s cross was headed in by Damon Herbert.
2nd half we managed the game really well and cut them down to a couple of half chances and saw the game out.
I’m really pleased with the result and to come to here and take 3 points away is a massive boost but we must now go and take max points against Wellingborough Town at home on Tuesday!"
