The Great British weather, combined with some interesting scheduling from league offices, has meant the Swans have only played 2 games since the start of this calendar year.
However, the baron spell is nearly over and there is football on the horizon and what a beauty of a game in prospect as the famous Willen Road turnstile gets to turn again.
Swans Nation will welcome AFC Rushden & Diamonds to the Green & Majestic Surroundings for the first time ever on Saturday as Darren Lynch's men go head-on with the high-flyers from Northants.
When the Swans played Diamonds earlier this season at their place, the home team grind out a 2-1 win over Newport. A good performance from the boys on that day meant they were unlucky not to come away with at least a point.
So come on down and witness the purest form of football remaining today. Local, passionate, meaningful.
