The Swans Assistant Manager Daren Dykes talks about the teams recent games :

"After a disappointing loss away at Leicester Nirvana with a bit of a makeshift 11 after suspensions & injuries it was back to winning ways on Tuesday away at Northampton Sileby in terrible conditions. Windy is an understatement. Not a lot of football got played but the lads battled to a 1-0 win to bring the points home with Fazel getting the winner. As a defensive unit we was outstanding & our reserve keeper Joe Pursell had a great game in goal.

On Saturday we was at home to Desborough, with a few lads back from suspension and our keeper Ozzy back. Reading the write up on here from their gaffer before the game we knew they would come at us & make it as difficult as possible & their game plan worked for 20-25 minutes. We started poorly & found ourselves 2-0 down. The first coming from our own mistakes & the 2nd a great 25 yard strike from their CM. The rest of the half was all about us really & we pulled 1 back through Fazel to take us in 2-1 down. For however poor we was, we still could of been 5 or 6-2 up. The lad in goal for Desborough pulled off some great point blank saves & we also hit the upright twice.
Second half we re-shuffled the pack & was excellent. We played some lovely stuff. Fazel ended up grabbing a further 3 goals to win it for us 4-2. Last 2 home games we have come back from 3-0 down & 2-0 down, yes that shows great character but we cant keep giving teams head starts!

Tonight we host Northampton Spencer & fingers crossed for a clean sheet haha! Come on you Swans xx"
