NARFC were hosts for Devon U15s and U18s County Trials, with over 60 girls trialling for each age group from across Devon.
NARFC entered 6 girls in each age group.
Sar Brooks, NARFC Girls Head Coach said "5 out of 6 U15 Newton girls through to play for County. My one who didn't has had an awesome experience and will be back next year. Well done all of you. So, so proud of you all."
One of our U18s commented "Massive well done to all the girls who trialled today, you all put in maximum effort and pushed yourself so hard, you should all be very proud. If it didn't go as well as you had hoped- it does not make you any less of a player and you are still amazing. Also just to add, a massive thank you for the coaches, first team ladies and parents all coming down to support us, we all appreciate it, so thank you!"
We are still waiting for confirmation of any of our U18s girls getting into Devon.
We are so proud of all our girls, whether or not, they got into Devon as they truly are ambassadors of the club and rugby.
