As a Club we have many financial commitments which need to be met to allow players to participate in both training and matches. Insurance costs, facility levies, league fees, coaching courses equipment and ground maintenance are some of the financial obligations that need to be met. We do this in four ways - through Club Membership, Player Subscriptions, Sponsorship & Donations and Fundraising.
The Newton Storm Club Constitution requires all players to be members of the Club with membership paid in full before they are permitted to represent the club in a paying capacity. Membership of Newton Storm also provides membership of Newton Sports Club (NSC) - it is a condition of Storm's affiliation as a 'section' of NSC that all our members are NSC members!
Membership is either by way of ‘Individual’ or ‘Family’ membership. Individual membership permits the individual applicant to become a member, at the relevant category of membership, for £25 (2016 fee). Family membership permits a maximum of four people from the same household or extended family to become members, at the relevant category of membership, for £35 (2016 fee).
Memberships are due by the last day of February each year and the membership form can be in the 'Documents' section of the website.
Player Subscriptions are £120 for the full calendar year (pro-rata) and every player is required to pay £10.00 per month. Where the player is a junior member, this fee relates to the “first” child in a family – subscriptions are £5.00 per month (£60 annual) per child thereafter.
Subs are now collected by Standing Order with no option available for cash payment. The 2017 Subscription Form can also be found in the 'Documents' section..
