The Newton Storm Festival of Rugby returns this weekend at Newton Sports Club. Junior sides at under 7s, under 9s and under 11s will be taking part with teams from all over the north west joining us.

Following the juniors, the seniors will take to the field with a Newton Storm Select XIII facing a Newton-Vulcan Casuals side for the Ian Skeech and Vin Hughes Memorial Shield which will conclude a day that pays homage to the town's rugby past, present and future.

There will be stalls, fun and games for the family throughout the day and all are welcome to join us. Gates open at 9:45; Junior rugby starts at 11am and the Senior match kicks of at 3pm.
