Herbrandston 1-1 Neyland
HERBRANDSTON earned a hard fought draw with Neyland at home.
The visitors were on top in the first period, and they took the lead in the 30th minute when Gary Power headed into the back of the net from inside the box.
Sean Hannon rattled the crossbar with a fierce shot from distance as the Nomads led 2-0 at half time.
Leigh Galdo’s team put in a better second half display and were rewarded in the 75th minute when Shane Walsh finished clinically from inside the box to level matters.
Herbrandston boss Leigh Galdo said: “I thought we deserved a win. Finished much stronger and dominated second half, but on the balance of the whole game a draw was a fair result.”
