Dear all, Some very sad news.

Norman Lewis died this weekend. He was a great supporter of the club for very many years. His son Peter was in my class at junior school. Tragically Peter was killed at work when only 18 years old. He was a superb athlete and I think it is fairly safe to assume that he would have gone on to play lacrosse for England. I'm not sure whether Norman ever recovered from this tragedy but he continued to take an interest in the club.

The funeral is being held at Norbury Church this Friday at 3.00 pm. The family are meeting after for a drink at Hazel Grove Con Club. Peter's brother, Simon, has been in touch with Pete Mycoe and advised that the family has asked that flowers are not to be sent & if anyone feels the need to make a contribution then they would like for donations to be made to Norbury Lacrosse Club instead. This is an amazing gesture from the family.

Please do think of Norman, Peter and the family on Friday.

Regards,

Phil
