Many of you will know Jon Lopez, who is one of our fantastic NCC volunteers and who can regularly be seen running the bar on Colts Training Friday Nights.
Jon has asked us to circulate the following note, which we are of course delighted to:
Three months ago I was devastated to learn that a good friend and drinking buddy has Pancreatic Cancer. Steve Cook is a fully committed coaching volunteer at Normandy Cricket Club near Guildford. He has been dedicated to motivating the Colts to both enjoy and fulfil their cricketing abilities. In reflecting on his passion and energy I wanted to do something to help in the fight to make Pancreatic cancer more treatable in the foreseeable future.
Many thanks for supporting this good cause. And wish me luck on my maiden skydive!
