The TJFA league weekly sports round up give the Northallerton Juniors U15 team a complementary mention this week 3rd November.
The article form part of the bigger report but reads as follows:-

" Finally for this weekend, the Under 15 Challenge Cup third round also pits two very accomplished sides against each other, as fifth division Northallerton Juniors welcome third division Hartlepool Pools Youth down to their venue. Whilst two divisions separate these sides Northallerton have won all six League games in the fifth division and sit proudly at the top, Pools Youth have lost only one of four games scheduled in the League in their division and this could be a really close end result with even extra time and those dreaded penalties needed to sort out who moves into the quarter final stage of the Competition. This could be a bit of a banana-skin for Pools Youth, who will certainly need to be at their very best this weekend in an intriguing Cup tie and yet another high profile fixture which should get underway around 1:30pm.

So a real mixture of games in store and we will almost be at the quarter final stages in many age groups after the weekend. Just a reminder though, that with the Middlesbrough v Sunderland match also scheduled on Sunday, members are advised to check on which day and what time over the weekend the TJFA teams are playing, as many may change from the norm to allow attendance at that big match."

The scheduled cup clash looks in jeopardy though as injuries and other commitments means the match may have to be rescheduled. Full article can be found via the TJFA website under News.
