This has led to what is now an extremely successful mini and junior section and has also produced some fine rugby talent, as well as installing the true rugby ethos in thousands of youngsters over the years, where lifelong friendships have been made. Those who knew Dave will know and appreciate the efforts that he put in with the mini rugby and the club itself, and also remember with fondness the laughter and good times that always surrounded him.
This memorial day has been arranged by the club to honour his efforts and to celebrate his life, and what better way to do this than by playing a game of rugby with friends Old and New, Young and Old, followed by a few drinks, food and live music, everything that Dave loved in life.
There is a second game where a Dave Bayes “coached/played under “ team led by Danny Bayes will play an Alliance invitation side comprising ex Saints Youth / U21 / Wanderers / 1st's players XV from the late 80's early 90's plus a few others. Kick Off 3:15
