Our former Treasurer Angie Birch is standing down and the committee have decided that perhaps the job is too much for one person and that with our new strategy of “Spreading the Load” we now need to appoint someone who can help with keeping a record of the club’s financial transactions.

This basically involves maintaining 3 spreadsheets as follows:

1) A record of purchase invoices
2) A record of monies received
3) A record of payments made

and managing the internet bank account.

The job is not particularly onerous, it can be done at home (a computer is essential) and it is not essential to attend meetings should that be the applicant’s wish.

Bill Kingston who has a modest knowledge of accounting will be on hand to assist and advise at all times and would take on the role but for the fact that his Chairman and other extraneous duties are already fairly time consuming.
