This Saturday see's the 1st XV head to Leicestershire to take on Aylestone St James. "Jimmies" this year have started the league campaign on a real high having won 3 out of there opening 5 fixtures and scoring 137 point in doing so and only having conceded 65. So high focus on defensive systems and clinical in attack has been at the forefront of this weeks preparation.
Forwards:
Dan Jones, moves from his preferred back row position into the number one shirt. Joe Ellis comes off the bench after a solid performance last week to start a hooker, with experienced prop Matt Wilmot keeping his place at tight head. In the second row the devastating partnership of Liam Kerr and Jonny Squire get to shows it force once more. The back row is made up of George Briddon, who moves back to 6, Club Captain Noah Kennedy gets his chance to regain the 7 shirt. With Nick Brown taking up the eight shirt.
Backs:
The ever impressing and developing partnership of Toby Sandham and Louis James keep the nine and ten shirt respectively. Head coach Adam baker comes back into the side at twelve, with Jonny Rust staying at thirteen after a powerful hit out last week. Callum Kerr moves back to his preferred 15 spot. The unavailability of top try scored Mike Whitehead means Alex Cairns comes back into the side on the wing, with Tom Woolfe on the opposite side.
