Putting player welfare at the heart of the game and supporting clubs to provide a safe playing environment and develop high quality coaching.
Whether a coach, match official, teacher, parent, volunteer or player… Rugby Aware is an opportunity for everyone involved in rugby union to gain knowledge and understanding on some of the current topics in the game especially on player welfare and player safety, RFU programmes and initiatives, available resources and training opportunities.
What will be covered:
- RugbySafe – the RFUs Player Welfare Scheme including HEADCASE
- Young players making the next steps
- Safe and effective tackling
- Law Updates
