Thirteen year old Luis has touched the hearts of many within the Scouts, Saints Rugby and the wider rugby and sporting community, with his courageous battle against the rare bone cancer, Osteosarcoma.

Although Luis was the very proud to be the Saints 16th man at the Premiership Final he will always be our special number 15 at the Old Scouts. Luis was, and will always be, an inspiration to everyone that met him.

Many tributes to Luis have been posted on Twitter, with the words brave, inspirational, privilege and hero being a common theme.

The coaches, parents and team mates in the U14s and everyone at the Old Scouts would like to send our condolences to Luis’ parents Jo and Lee, his sister Georgia, his family and his friends at this devastating time.
