West Carroll's Strong Second Half Not Enough to Defeat North Bay
It was a beautiful Friday night and a tale of two halves with North Bay scoring all 40 of their points the first half and West Carroll coming back strong in the second to score all 24 of theirs. North Bay began by making great use of their powerful forward, Christian Jagdman, who was difficult to stop and the first to score. Chad Shane punched in two tries and the team was awarded two penalty tries, earned by David Fetcho and Bobby Zvitkovitz. Shane and Zvitkovitz had a successful night of kicking conversions, including that of their final try which was scored by Connor Powell's long run. Forwards Captain Matt Bradley's experience showed as he led the fight to defend the Marauders, but this became more difficult for North Bay in the second half and West Carroll's rucking skills helped lead them to scoring four times. Both teams showed their strengths in this battle and gave their fans exciting moments to cheer for.
