NBHS Back On Track
Spring had at last sprung as NBHS welcomed Linlithgow Academy to Grange Road for the last home game of the season.
With Scotland U18 calling on 3 NBHS players, the selected squad had half an eye on next season with U16 players Kayde Reynolds and Jack Kennedy being promoted off the back of some fine displays this season.
Linlithgow Academy kicked off and were soon on the attack however the home side settled quickly and Harvey Elms sythed through to score under the posts, which he duely coverted.
With the team playing some expansive rugby, further tries followed for Jack Hall and a brace from Harvey Elms to complete his first half hatrick.
HT 22-0
The second half continued in the same manner although Linlithgow's committment and effort kept NBHS honest throughout.
Impressive teamwork led to 2 tries from Jamie Moffat, another from Harvey Elms before Gregor Wood saved the best till last to finish off a flowing move.
FT 46-0
This performance was just the tonic after last weeks game and shows the benefit of getting numbers to training and being able to focus on team structure.
The debutants contributed very well and with most of the second half played with 5 S5s in the backline it augurs well for next season.
