Not much to say really. A very disappointing result for NBHS to lose out in a close and nervous affair.

NBHS had the best of the opening quarter of the game where they created three clear cut scoring chances but through poor execution of the basic skills only managed to convert one, with Jamie Moffet going in out wide.

The Academy then used their big forwards to good effect and had NBHS pinned in their own 22 for the rest of the half, eventually breaking the defence to score and convert

Neither team really asserted any dominance in the second half. NBHS tried running the ball wide wherever possible and the Academy looked to the boot to force NBHS to attack from deep, with the boot ultimately winning the day.

It was a shame the 1st pitch wasn't made avaialable for the game as the smaller pitch better suited the Galashiels tactics. However thanks must go to the club for hosting the game and providing the post game food
