Monday 13th October saw the O50 having a bye week leaving the 'A' Team to hold centre stage. The County Hotel were the visitors this week and on paper were not expected to trouble our 'A Team. As it turned out however the visitors were unfortunate to leave pointless.
The early games saw the club take a 3 - 1 lead and then a 4 - 2 lead before the visitors hit back to make it 4 - 4. Captain for the night, Kenny Cowan, decided to play himself in the last pair and fully justified his decision by checking out to make it 5 - 4 to the club. The home team then went on to win the final fours for a 6 - 4 victory which keeps them joint top of the League. An exciting match but too close for comfort for the home team.

Next Monday it's the 'A' Team's turn for a bye week whilst the O50 face a difficult trip to the Auld Hoose.
