Certainly plenty going on across North Berwick Colts right now, so I just wanted to share some news and updates.
Looking ahead to Christmas - if you have a Spurs fan in the family (and there must be some out there) you may be interested in bidding for a football signed by the first team that has been donated by one of the parents from our girls team. We are going to auction this off to raise funds for the club - and will do this silent auction style.
If you would like to bid for the ball then please email me firstname.lastname@example.org with your bid by 9pm on Wednesday 26th November.
There has been so many good things over last few weeks with the girls playing at Tynecastle at the Scotland Women's team game, and the 2004s playing at Easter Road this weekend.
Our 11 aside teams have been involved in a fair amount of cup action including a trip for the u13s to Aberdeen. That's all on top of our regular training, league games and festivals across our 12 different age groups. Thank you for all your hard work to make this happen.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up for coaching or first aid courses in the New Year. Coach development is really important to us at the club and I am pleased that so many of you are getting involved.
I'm also delighted that we have been successful in being selected to be part of the McDonalds / SFA Coach mentoring programme over the coming months. Big thanks to Alan Johnston for spotting this opportunity and getting our application in. We have an initial meeting this week and further details will emerge when we know more.
Finally - we've been asked by Enjoy Leisure to help out with neighbour relations at the 3G by encouraging parking, pick up and drop off to all take place in the car park and not on Greenheads Road at the north side of the pitch. Would be grateful if you could pass that on to parents in your age groups.
As ever, big thanks from me for your dedication, support and commitment to making our club a success.
