A pre-session briefing led by Under 14s Head Coach, Ashley Rennison, saw players taking an active role in deciding priorities for the 2017 season, team ethos and values supported by parents and carers.

After finishing top of the table in 2016, the squad are hopeful of being promoted into Division 2 - a challenge which they relish and which is an important stepping stone for players who are working hard towards a full time career in the sport. With a number of players regularly attending the Castleford Tigers' Player Development Centre and with one-to-one support and development plans for every player in the squad, the coming season is shaping up to be another success.

We are also delighted to welcome Kane Nimmo to the role of Coach within the Under 14s - working with the existing Head Coach and Assistant Coaches to ensure the best possible preparations for the season ahead.
