Hykeham Rugby

North Hykeham are looking for new players to help them compete throughout the 11/12 season, this player is you! If you are aged 17 or over and are looking to get into rugby why not come down and play rugby with one of the best social sides around? You don’t need any experience to get involved; most of the players at the club started their rugby careers here!

Throughout the 10/11 season Hykeham really found their feet and with a handful of new players and plenty of team spirit on and off the pitch the squad won the Lincolnshire Merit league and made it to the NLD Vase final, but couldn’t make the last hurdle to grab the three counties silverware. This was all achieved by a team developing into a group of friends and putting in a huge effort at training and on the Saturday, not by some star player’s coming to the club.

This season Hykeham are again playing in the Merit league, but are looking to regularly organise some much tougher fixtures to make that push to the higher standard and enter the Midlands league. This cannot be done without an influx of players to set up multiple teams.

This is where you come in; we are not looking for the outstanding player, but the man who wants to get involved and have a bloody good time playing rugby and participate in tours/general nights out! So please do come along and play rugby at North Hykeham.
