Following intensive trials at Bath University 21 year old David Treglown has been named in a 28 man England Students squad.

North Walsham's David Treglown who started his rugby career at Scottow at the age of five, continuing his involvement right through the youth ranks, before representing Eastern Counties as an Under 17, could be in line for International honours. Following intensive trials at Bath University 21year old David has been named in a 28 man England Students squad who will play three games starting with an away fixture in Portugal on January 28th, then against Wales at the Stoop on February 24th with the final game away against Emerging Italy on March 18th. If selected he will almost certainly play at outside half a position he filled while captaining the 1st XV at Norwich School. Following A levels there he took a gap year travelling to New Zealand attending the Canterbury Academy and playing for Sydenham RFC Colts. Currently in his final year at Leeds Metropolitan Carnegie University where he is reading Sports Marketing and Public Relations he is club captain of the university's rugby club. With his opportunities restricted by his studies he has made 10 first team appearances over four seasons for North Walsham Vikings scoring 62 points. If selected for the Internationals he will be following in the footsteps of another Walsham youngster Grant Pointer, who is now playing professional rugby with Cornish Pirates.
