As many of you will know Roger has a very long association with Northwich Rugby Club and has fulfilled many roles since joining us in the late 1970's as our first official club coach. He has agreed to takeover the position of Honorary President with immediate effect following approach by the executive committee.

Roger expressed a sincere “Thank You” for selecting me Honorary President of Northwich Rugby. I am aware that I have some big boots to fill if my term as President is to be seen as a success. I intend to perform the rôle to the best of my ability and I know I can rely on the other old farts to tell me if I’m making any mistakes. Most the Club members will know me by sight, if not to speak to; I hope that will change over the next few months.

We are sure "Coffin Dodger" Dave Frazer will welcome Roger and invite him to purchase a coffin dodgers round in celebration.

Roger had been our representative within Cheshire RFU for a number of years and has continued to take a keen and active interest in the Club's fortunes, and will no doubt continue to have a positive influence on Rugby matters during his tenure as President.
