Right people. Golf Day!
I've provisionally booked the 10th March for a golf day at ryde golf club, firstly to get us together before another season of madness sets upon us, and secondly to help raise some funds for our up and coming tour in July.
... The arrangements for the day so far are:
10.30 meet at ryde golf club for bacon rolls and coffee/tea
11.30 tee off
18 holes of golf, with lunch of ham, egg and chips provided in the club house once everyone is back.
During your round, there will be opportunities to win some top of the range prizes for the following catagories; longest drive, longest putt, and Closest to the pin, the top 3 players will recieve prizes as will the player coming in last.
Also during the day there will be opportunity to raise some money for our tour with individuals being fined throughout and also the introduction of a tour hole, this will be the 14th hole, par 3. For every shot over par on this hole only, you will be fined £1 per shot.
All of the above will cost a reduced price of just £20 for the day, with £5 of that money going into the tour fund (please note, this does not include clubs).
Following the golf we will continue the day/night with a small educational walk of Union street, where we will observe some island culture in carefully selected establishments and even sample some of the products available.
