14 people entered the 9 Ball Pool Singles Tournament this weekend and Mark 'Eagle' Tuckwell came out on top in a day of shocks. The players were divided into four groups, with the winner of each group going into the semi-finals. Pre-tournament favourite, Gavin Paddock was knocked out in the group stage after losing to Guster Ryms and young hopefuls, such as Ollie Cousins, Ryan Brenchley and Ben Baker were also knocked out. 2011 winner, Ashley Goldsmith, was then knocked out in the semi-finals by Josh Rudd, before Mark Tuckwell beat Guster Ryms in the other semi-final and then beat Josh 3-2 in the final.
