Interclub Friendly Held

On Saturday the the held an interclub friendly which turned out to be a first team v reserves team with a few veterans thrown in for good measure.

It was a useful excercise to blow away the cobwebs after a two week break.

Although immaterial the score finished 7-1 in favour of the first team although during the first half the reserves gave a very good account of themselves and perhaps deserved a goal for their display with James Cossey coming close on a couple of occasions. Instead it was Andy Green with 2 and Chris Smith that gave the firsts a 3-0 half time lead.

Many changes of personnel were made at half time and Cossey did find the net for 3-1 however the firsts upped their dominance and added 4 further goals through Green, Smith, Dan Kirk and Tom Hudson.

This week we return to normal action starting with training on Thursday at 7pm. On Saturday the first team travel to Mutford & Wrentham whilst the reserves host Spexhall Reserves.

On Sunday the Veterans host NALGO Old Boys with all games commencing at 2pm
