Watts, Applegate and Jones all sign up for two years, one year deal for Eastaugh

“securing their futures allows me to strengthen for next season” Steve Eastaugh

Norwich United are delighted to announce that Sam Applegate (25), Sam Watts (27) and Ben Jones (24) have all agreed new 2 year contracts to stay at Plantation Park. Club captain Andy Eastaugh who completed his 200 th game for the club this season, has also signed for another season.
All four players have been regulars this season and by putting pen to paper will allow the club to start to plan and strengthen, off the back of what has been a tough campaign.
Planter’s manager Steve Eastaugh said ‘These four are the bank bone of our dressing room and securing their futures allows me to strengthen for next season. This year has been difficult and in order to attract players that will take us forward, they will need to see the calibre of the group we already have here. Players of the experience, commitment and ability of Andy, Sam, Ben and Sam allow me to go do that now and I’m delighted they want to continue to be a part of our football club’.
