Hogston double launches U21 quarter final win
Cooper and Diggens also on scoresheet
The U21s reached the semi-finals of the Thurlow Nunn First Division knock-out cup with an impressive 4-1 win at March Town United.
Daniel Hogston opened the scoring with a lovely left foot strike from just outside the area in the 22nd minute and the youngster added a second three minutes before the break with a shot from an acute angle going through a crowded area to nestle inside the far post.
Damon Cooper came off the bench to net at the far post after a shot from the right was only parried by the goalkeeper. Toby Allen reduced the arrears eight minutes from time but there was still time for Luke Pepper to be dismissed for a second yellow before George Diggens slotted home a fourth Planters goal in injury time after a good run by Tim Henery.
U21: Johnson, Probert (S Howard), Mattyasorsky, R Howard, D Henery, Pollock, Diggens, Jewell (Dyer), T Henery, Hogston (Cooper), Haylett. Unused subs: Flute, Coleto-Cano.
