In the Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division Bilborough Town name a largely unchanged squad from their Notts FA Cup first round victory last weekend, which means they are still without Ricky Law (groin), as they head to The Strand to take on Attenborough.

Cotgrave will attempt to break into the top two as they host AFC Dunkirk at Woodview, trying to get their first home win since early September in the process.

Sandiacre Town are looking to arrest a run of five straight defeats as they welcome Gedling Southbank to St Giles while Awsworth Villa will try and back up their big win in the Notts FA Cup last weekend as they return to league action with the visit of Magdala Amateurs to The Shilo.

The NSL Senior Cup has reached the second round stage with three of the eight ties featuring all Premier Division teams: FC Cavaliers welcome league leaders Newark Flowserve to the Forest Sports Zone, Wollaton entertain Southwell City at the WSA and Ruddington Village host Underwood Villa at Elms Park.

Four Division One sides hope to spring a surprise over Premier Division opponents: Beeston Rylands, in their first NSL campaign, welcome last season’s Junior Cup runners up, Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC, to Leyton Crescent; Kirton Brickworks entertain Basford United Community at Station Road; Bilborough United host Bingham Town at Basil Russell Park and Ashland Rovers head to Hollinwood Lane to face Calverton Miners Welfare.

The only all-Division One tie sees Stapleford Town face Real Community at Hickings Lane.

Division One league action gets underway on Friday night with leaders Netherfield Albion entertaining Awsworth Villa Reserves at Hollinwood Lane.

In Division Two, Nottingham City are without a manager for the second game time and also three players, Mo Tatar, Damien Robinson and Nathan Blackwood have also left the club. On the plus side they are now settling into their home at Birchover Park, having played their opening four home games at Grassington Road, with Welbeck Lions Reserves the visitors.

Bridgford United are back in action, after they had last weekend off, as they head to Roko to take on Magdala Amateurs Reserves.
